Summer Robotics & Coding Camp for the children at Life-Giving Tree: Aug. 2, 2023

In the spring of 2023, we began orchestrating a joint event between the Green Tree and Robotis clubs. We worked together to host a coding and robotics class at LTO for 5th and 6th-grade children from single-parent families. After weeks of meticulous planning, the event finally took place in the first week of August.

We instructed the children on Entry and Arduino programs, and the essential skills needed for handling robotic tools and mechanics. In addition, we assisted each of them in utilizing Entry coding and Arduino Uno boards.

Surprisingly, this was the children's first encounter with computer coding and robotics, but their eagerness and commitment to learning were truly inspiring. The enthusiastic feedback we received has spurred me to organize subsequent training sessions for the children.

This joint event not only fostered collaboration between the CCAS clubs but also created a meaningful connection between the LTO children and the CCAS community.
