Our Reflections: Raphael Kim

My time at the Green Tree Club has been a truly special and deeply touching experience. I've always had a fondness for young children, enjoying playing and spending time with them. At family gatherings, entertaining my younger cousins was always a source of joy for me. So, when I had the opportunity to spend time with children at the Green Tree Club, it felt like revisiting my own childhood.

Before joining the Green Tree Club, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, from the moment I started participating, I realized how meaningful this experience would be for me. Spending time with the children brought me immense joy and their innocence and enthusiasm awakened something in my soul. It was like stepping back into my childhood.

Volunteering has always held great significance for me, and the Green Tree Club provided an opportunity to further fuel this passion. Helping the children and spending time with them deepened my sense of responsibility towards others. Assisting them in their journey towards a better future was truly rewarding.

My involvement in the Green Tree Club also emphasized the importance of relationships. Playing with various children taught me how to communicate and collaborate with people from different backgrounds and experiences. This will greatly aid in developing my communication and collaboration skills for the future.

Moreover, the Green Tree Club instilled in me a greater sense of social responsibility. Helping children goes beyond mere volunteering.
